Director Language Centre
Welcome to the Language Centre of the University of Cyprus. The Centre provides foreign language instruction for all students of the University. Currently we offer courses in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Russian and Turkish to meet compulsory language requirements and elective options. We pride ourselves on the quality of the instruction offered by our professionally trained language teaching specialists. We strive to make our teaching as effective, efficient and enjoyable as possible using the most up-to-date pedagogical methodologies and instructional technology applications.
In addition to enrolled University students, the Language Centre also provides language instruction and professional teacher training support through its fees-based “Adult Education Program”. Language for specific purposes courses are tailored to the needs of business and government service communities. Our expertise in language teaching extends to providing advanced language maintenance courses and training in instructional technology to practicing language teachers.
